Mechanics require a particular set of werkzeug to work on machinery. There are a wide variety of tool kits with special werkzeug for the purpose of working on different kinds of machinery. Most of the required werkzeug are packaged in specific kits—engine kits, repair kits, etc. to ease the mechanic’s work and not create unnecessary confusion at the time of work.
Some of the important tool types used by mechanics the world over are-
Hand werkzeug – Hand werkzeug are one of the most important types of werkzeug that are used by mechanics. Scanning werkzeug – The most sophisticated tool used by any mechanic. This tool is connected to a computer to scan and diagnose problems in a machine or engine, making it a very useful mechanical tool.
Glowing Drop Cords – These are simply fluorescent cords which glow in the dark and are especially useful in dark places. They are safer than bulbs or flash lights because they are more portable and safer as they do not break or heat up and are an extremely long lasting source of bright light.
These tool types are the most commonly used by mechanics and technicians alike. In addition to these werkzeug there are many other mechanical werkzeug which are quite indispensable in any tool kit. There are a wide variety of air-compressing equipment and air powered power werkzeug as spray guns, nail guns, tighteners, drills, saws etc. Funnels, flashlights, creepers, various kinds of jacks are also quite useful.
